Technician

Collision repairs in all service areas including: bodywork, chassis repair, painting, welding, mechanical and final assembly. Foreman

San Francisco State University- Infrastructure Cabling Upgrade (Project)

Provided supervision, guidance & work assignments to 5 Leads crewmembers of over 30 technicians. Analysis of job specifications or drawing problems, in process & final quality inspections. Communicated effectively with engineers to resolve network design errors. Consistently met project deadlines, ensured superior quality and maintained high

customer satisfaction. Communicated with various teams on project status and issue resolution. Driving quality and cost management. Foster team environment to improve productivity and generated employee enthusiasm. Performed effective troubleshooting, repair, and engineering inaccuracies. As general management team; my responsibility duty included: coordinating and meeting with Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical subcontractors for scopes of works.

 

My responsibility also included built out Telecommunications Rooms (TR), cable rack, conduit sleeves, wire mold, j-hood, deed ring for cable pathway. Running 5k feet of 200 strands single & multimode outside plant (OSP), 25k feet of inside plant  ( ISP) optical fiber cable, included 500k feet of Cat6 and 20k feet of RG6 cable. Terminated and tested over 2,500 outlets location throughout school campus of 11 buildings and turn in hard and soft copy of all test result. Installation, Termination and Cortication of: Hubbell, Krone, Leviton, AMP, Telecomm, MOD- TAP, Ortronics, Siemen, Wire-Mold, Panduit, Berk-tek, ADC, ATT, Belden, Lucent, CNC, ICS, ICC, ATP, Tyco , products. Tested with Volt/OHM meters, PENTA Scanners, Side Kick tester and FLUKE 1800.

My responsibility included take over 3000 pictures of school engineering inaccuracies and doing photo annotation for revise actual field drawing.

 

Barrow Alaska -Water Waste (short term project)

My responsibility included overseeing subcontractors of Mechanical and electrical work in Water Waste in the facility of city Barrow Alaska. My duty also working with subcontractors to make sure all work according to engineer drawing and taking photo of any work inaccuracies.

 

Portland Oregon - Intel’s Clean Room (short term project)

My responsibility is working and coordinating with subcontractors in the Clean Room (CR) for installing and removing robot equipment. My responsibility duty included held daily and weekly meeting and complete daily activity report for the customers. 

 

E3-SYSTEMS – Union City, CA.                                                      2003-2006

Level III-Lead

Central Office Environment Installations, (M.O.P) Method of Procedure documentation, (RFI) Request for Information, walk job and site survey with client/engineer and project manager before (JSA) Job Start Agreement (Reading and understanding drawing, blueprint, schematic and scope of works for the projects. My responsibility included, built out Telecommunications Room (TR), MDF, IDF and HUT, also installing Alcatel 7670, ADSL, ADSL Copper Max, DSLAM, Nortel, Siemens, Cisco ONS 15454, Lucent DMX, Motorola, NEC, Marconi, ADC and Scientific Atlanta.

 

Other responsibility duties included, general cable routing, grounding, mount bays, rack loading, sewing, wire wrapping, lacing, dressing, labeling, stitching, lugging, tapping, crimping, bonding / fire stopping. Auxiliary bracing of high and low framing, BDFB cabinet and fuse panels. Running, terminations and testing of 66/110 block, face-plate and patch panels, DS1/DS3, RG6, RJ45, Cat6/Cat7, copper, fiber optic, switchboard and power cable, using power meter, LAN Tester, T-Birds310, Fluke 1800, Algilent and OTDR. Installed battery spill protection guards and rectifier at cell sites, Data Center, Head End and also in Central Office of SBC and AT&T facility.

Oversaw and provided work assignments to Level 1 and 2 installers activity for installing RPD, NSG, DSX3, fiber optic panel for Voice, DATA and Video for Comcast Head End Facility in the Bay Area. This also includes overseeing projects in in commercial building, hospital, school, and government facility for installing MDF, IDF, wireless antenna,  j-hook, hanger, run, terminated, polish optical fiber, test voice, data and video cable. Interface with Job Supervisors and

Engineers to resolve any order issues. Correct on site job specifications, drawings, documentation, QA/QC.

 

ADC Telecommunications -Sacramento, CA.                              2001-2003

Level-III Tech

Responsibilities included, installed iron work/frame/bays/equipment rack, aux bar, cable rack, wire managers, fiber raceway and fiber duct, cabinets and equipment within.

Experience with the installation of Optical Carrier equipment: Lucent 5ESS, Nortel DMS10, Nortel, Siemens, Cisco ONS 15454, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Lucent DMX, Motorola, Tellabs,  Juniper, NEC, Marconi, ADC, Conklin, GoDigital, Scientific Atlanta and ADSL Copper Max. Lacing, sewing, labeling and test power, fiber and copper cabling, includes h-taps, inline splicing, cutting,  grinding, grounding, bonding, bus bar and termination to BDFB. Running and testing copper cabling includes DS1/DS3, DSX3 BNC connectors, Cat3/Cat5, fiber optic, and wire wrapping. Fiber cabling includes video scoping and light level testing using EX-FO. Cable runs included closing of cable holes with Hilti and 3M systems standards. My skill included; Interpret, layout blue print and analysis job Method of Procedures (MOP) equipment and wiring documentation equipment in Central Office of SBC & AT&T facilities.

Responsibility duties included, installing of ironwork, ladder rack, fiber raceway, mount and line up bays.
